Go straight on Mabel to 4th street to drop this route to 16 vs. 16.6 miles

The route:
From the Y - Take 6th to Market and turn LEFT
- Once over Market Street Bridge turn LEFT on Cherokee Blvd
- Go through the Cherokee tunnel
- Take the first RIGHT on to Ashmore Avenue (water and bathroom at EMT station)
- Follow Ashmore to Memorial Drive
- Turn LEFT on Memorial Drive then RIGHT on Lyndon
- Follow Lyndon to Culver where you turn LEFT toward Dayton Blvd
- Stay on Dayton Blvd until you turn RIGHT on Harding
- Take a LEFT on Greenwich until you see Newberry
- Turn LEFT on Newberry and go to the Golden Gallon
- Turn RIGHT on Redding Road and go one more mile
- The turn around point is at the park on the left where you see the water fountain, bathroom, and gazebo
- Turn RIGHT onto Bank Street to Ashland Terrace
- Turn RIGHT onto Ashland Terrace, stay on the sidewalk
- Follow Ashland Terrace to Highland Plaza and Hixson Pike
- Cross Hixson Pike and turn LEFT toward N. Access Road
- Turn RIGHT onto N. Access Road
- Turn RIGHT onto Dupont Parkway and cross over the parkway to Amnicola
- TURN LEFT on Amnicola as you exit the Parkway (heading toward Chattanooga State)
- CROSS Amnicola and TURN LEFT into the TENNESSEE RIVER PARK entrance
- Get onto the Riverwalk heading back dowtown
- Follow the Riverwalk all the way back to Scrappy Moore Field and then out onto Battery Place
- Cross the walking bridge at the top of Battery Place into the Bluff View Art Disrict
- STRAIGHT onto Spring Street at the end of the walking bridge
- LEFT onto E 2nd Street (no choice)
- RIGHT into the Hunter Museum Campus
- CROSS the Holmberg Glass Walking Bridge
- LEFT onto Walnut Street
- RIGHT onto 4th Street
- LEFT onto Chestnut
- RIGHT onto 6th
