Route: Chickamauga Battlefield - 20 miler
Pace Range: 07:00 - 11:00
Notes about this run:
Scheduled By: Bill Brock

The Chickamauga Battlefield - 20 miler is 20.00 miles on the road with mixed terrain.

The starting point for this route is: 6th Cavalry Museum

Comments about this route:
This is an especially good course when you can set out water stops on Alexander and at the Towers, plus have water at the 6th Cavalry Museum. When you do that, you end up with water stops at about every 3 miles of your run. The scenery and the limited traffic make this a really pleasant run!

The route:
- Start at the 6th Cavalry Museum
- RIGHT onto Barnhardt Circle
- LEFT onto South Gate Street
- RIGHT onto Post Road
- LEFT onto trail into woods
- LEFT onto Alexander Bridge Road
- DRINKS on left at Jay's Mill / Alexander Bridge
- Continue down Alexander Bridge
- RIGHT on Glen Viniard Road
- LEFT onto Lafayette Road
- RIGHT onto Glen Viniard Road
- Bear RIGHT at the fork near the parking area onto Glenn Kelly Road
- DRINKS on right at Wilder Tower
- BEAR RIGHT at fork between Vittetoe Chickamauga / Glenn-Kelly to stay on Glenn-Kelly
- Take Glenn-Kelly all the way back the Trail Road
- LEFT onto Trail Road
- RIGHT onto McFarland Ave
- LEFT at S. Gate Street
- RIGHT at Barnardt
- Back to the Musuem
- Refresh yourself and hit the road for another loop for 20!
