Summary: Heading out from the Y, cross Market, head to Pineville via Manufacturers, turn right on Pineville and take it all the way to Signal Mtn. Blvd. Cross Signal Mtn. Blvd and jump onto Runyan, following it until it connects back to Mountain Creek. Take Mountain Creek to Morrison Springs, up the hill to the Break Place where you follow backroads Lamar and Greenleaf back to Dayton Blvd. Take Dayton Blvd. back to Culver & Lyndon and then to Memorial. Turn left onto Memorial and follow it to Altamont and then on to Hixson Pike, which you take to Shady Circle to Riverview past the Golf club to the park, up Young, back across Barton to Frazier to Walnut to 6th and the Y...

- Over Market Street Bridge
- LEFT to Manufacturer's Road
- Down Manufacturer's Rd then LEFT on Hamm Rd (2M)
- RIGHT on Mocassin Bend/Pineville Road
- Pass KZ106 (3.7M), Chatt St Tech, go up hill
- See Wind Ridge Apartments on your left
- Continue down Pineville Road to Signal Mtn Blvd
- LEFT on Signal Mtn Blvd then cross Signal Mtn Blvd and go 3/10 mile to Runyan Dr. (5.3 Miles)
- RIGHT on Runyan and follow Runyan until it dead ends at N. Runyan (7 Miles)
- LEFT on N. Runyan to Mountain Creek Road
- RIGHT on Mountain Creek Road (7.3) Pass Scenic Land School at 7.6 miles. Sidewalk on right side of Mtn. Creek
- RIGHT on Morrison Springs Road stay on sidewalk
- RIGHT on Lamar (just before Break Place)
- See CONOCO Break Place (water/$food break - 9.5 miles)
- Stay on Lamar
- Take Lamar to Greenleaf
- Stay on Greenleaf to Dayton Blvd
- Right onto Dayton Blvd (10.5M)
- LEFT on Culver (11.2M) (just before CONOCO)
- Immediate RIGHT on Lyndon- LEFT on Memorial Drive (11.7M)
- LEFT on Altamont (12.3M)
- Water break at flashing light at Altamont and Crestwood (12.7M)
- Follow Altamont to Hixson Pike (12.9M)- RIGHT on Hixson Pike stay on sidewalk
- Stay on Hixson Pike up hill toward Riverview
- At hilltop, cross street when sidewalk runs out
- LEFT on Shady Circle (13.7M)
- RIGHT on Shady Circle
- LEFT on Sunset - Water fountain at 1529 Sunset Abner Oldham's home (13.9M)
- Continue down Sunset to Riverview Road
- Stay straight on Riverview Road all the way past the Chattanooga golf club
- Riverview becomes Dorchester
- Turn LEFT onto Sterling (15M) right before the park
- Right onto Terrace. (WATER & bathrooms at the park)
- LEFT onto Young Avenue- LEFT on Carroll (15.6M)

(also optional to go straight up to top of Young and then turn left)
- RIGHT on Sterling - (15.8M)
- RIGHT on Island to Barton Avenue
- LEFT onto Barton
- RIGHT onto Frazier
- Turn LEFT onto the Walnut Street Bridge
- Take Walnut to 4th
- RIGHT on 4th to Market
- LEFT on Market to 6th
- RIGHT onto 6th
- Head back to the Y!
- HOME! 17.7 miles! (Call it 18!)
